Lower blepharoplasty through a subciliary incision
When bags are combined with excess skin, they are ideally treated by lower blepharoplasty through a subciliary incision (just below the lashes). This lifts (smooths) the lower eyelid. To optimise the result, the tear troughs are also filled by micro-fat grafting (microlipostructure). Here, a canthopexy was also performed to prevent the risk of a "round eye" appearance on a lax lower eyelid.
