Mesolift, or aesthetic mesotherapy, revitalises the skin with tiny injections of free (non-cross-linked) hyaluronic acid, vitamins and trace elements. It hydrates the skin in depth, where creams cannot reach, and stimulates its production of collagen and elastin; it does not create volume. The session lasts 10 to 30 minutes at the Cannes practice, under numbing cream, with no social downtime. It is repeated 3 to 4 times a year.

Price: €130 per session; the consultation before injection is free.

Who is it for?

Mesolift is for women and men who want to maintain their skin: a dull complexion, dehydrated skin, a less smooth skin texture. It is particularly worthwhile for young adults, to help prevent ageing.

Strictly speaking it is not rejuvenation but a way of accompanying the ageing process, to “age well”: the skin is regularly maintained, hydrated and stimulated (biorevitalisation). It does not fill wrinkles: that is the role of hyaluronic acid fillers.

How does mesolift work?

Free hyaluronic acid is reabsorbed within a few days, so it does not create volume. Together with the vitamins and trace elements, it hydrates the skin and stimulates its deep layer, which then produces more elastin, collagen and natural hyaluronic acid. It also has an antioxidant action against free radicals. Session after session, the skin gains in thickness and quality.

What can it be combined with?

Mesolift often forms part of an overall plan to prevent facial ageing, drawn up with the surgeon:

What happens during a mesolift session?

  1. ConsultationFree before injection, at the practice, 101 rue d’Antibes, Cannes: examination of the skin, choice of areas, product and session frequency.
  2. SessionAt the practice, in 10 to 30 minutes: numbing cream, then superficial injections of small amounts of product.
  3. Follow-up sessions3 to 4 a year, depending on the product.

Is mesolift painful?

Very little: the injections are superficial, and a numbing cream is applied before the session.

What is the recovery like?

  • Social life: back to normal immediately, with no social downtime.
  • Injection points: small bumps (papules) for a few hours; bruising is exceptional and discreet.
  • Result: complexion, texture and hydration improved from the first session; radiance and firmness continue to improve over the sessions.

What are the risks?

Side effects are rare and temporary: small bumps, redness, exceptional bruising; more rarely, an allergic reaction or infection.

Contraindications: pregnancy and breastfeeding, an active skin infection in the area, allergy to any of the product’s components.

Choosing a qualified, experienced and reputable surgeon reduces these risks, and can even eliminate some of them.

Frequently asked questions about mesolift

What is the difference between mesolift, mesotherapy and biorevitalisation?

They are three names for the same treatment: superficial injections of free hyaluronic acid, vitamins and trace elements, to hydrate and revitalise the skin.

Does mesolift fill wrinkles?

No. Free hyaluronic acid is reabsorbed within a few days and does not create volume. Wrinkles are filled with cross-linked hyaluronic acid, and expression lines are treated with Botox.

How many mesolift sessions are needed?

3 to 4 sessions a year, depending on the product. The result improves over the sessions.

When can you see the result of a mesolift?

From the first session for complexion, texture and hydration; radiance and firmness improve after several sessions.

What is the difference between mesolift and a skin booster?

A skin booster is a denser hyaluronic acid, injected more deeply, in two sessions 6 weeks apart; it firms the skin more. Mesolift, more fluid and superficial, also provides vitamins and trace elements. The two can be combined.

Can you go straight back to your usual activities after a mesolift?

Yes. There is no social downtime; bruising is exceptional.

How much does a mesolift cost in Cannes?

€130 per session, 3 to 4 sessions a year. The consultation before injection is free.
